Refund policy
Incomplete order
Online order fulfillment is subject to status of inventory. While Editions does its best to keep accurate inventory records, if an item in your order is found to be out of stock, we will send you notice and refund the cost of the item via the original method of payment.
Returns
Our policy lasts 30 days. After 30 days, unfortunately we can’t offer a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition (and original packaging, if applicable) that it was in when you received it.
We cannot grant refunds in the case of:
books with obvious signs of use;
a CD, DVD, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened;
any item that is not in its original condition, is damaged, or is missing parts, except where it reflects an error on our part;
any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
Refunds
Should we find that an item in your order is out of stock or missing from inventory, we will notify you and issue a refund for the cost of that item.
When we receive a returned item, we will notify you by email and state whether it qualifies for a refund.
Refunds will be processed and automatically applied to your original method of payment, within two weeks.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, please be patient. It can take some time to be reflected in a bank or credit card statement. If you have contacted your bank or credit card company for updates, and you still have not received your refund after 2 weeks, please contact us at info@kaviguptaeditions.com.
Sale items
Unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged due to an error on our part. If you need to exchange a damaged item for the same item, send us an email at info@kaviguptaeditions.com and send your item to: Kavi Gupta Editions, 835 W. Washington Boulevard, Chicago, IL 60607, United States.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be e-mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver, and they will find out about your return.

You are responsible for shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Please note that depending on your address, the time it may take for an item to reach you may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, please consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
